Eleanor 1920's Flapper By Lacy Sunshine

It's a new challenge at Penny's Paper-Crafty and the theme is Girly.

I have used the adorable image Eleanor 1920's Flapper.

I think she came out very cute.  I colored her with my Copic markers. It was easy to follow the "Girly" theme- with lots of die-cuts and bling and flowers and....of course the sentiment "Sassy Diva".  I hope you get a chance to enter and have some fun with the "Girly" theme.

Hi friends,

It's my turn to host the Artbymiran Inspiration BLOG-

I am using an adorable image named Bookaholic Katie.

I colored her with my Copic markers and then made a 6x6 card.  I used some fun school themed paper, a little bit of twine and a sentiment attached to a pencil, of course!!  Then topped of the pencil with some cute glasses.

Hello Friends!

Today's post is about a special little girl.  I was commenting on some projects for a design team I am on and saw this story.  I was very moved- and I hope you get a chance to help too.

Little Misses and CART for Cassandra

Welcome!  Today I want to share my story with you about a special young girl. My 11-year old daughter, Cassandra, was born deaf and is brilliant. Although we had a huge learning curve, it has been an amazing and rewarding journey watching our little girl grow and experience life.

She attends a public school and has asked for real-time captioning (RTC).  RTC is where a captionist will type up what is spoken in class and display it on a tablet so she can read information that she has missed. Without it, she struggles every day and has to guess at the meaning of half-heard words and sentences.

This event is to raise awareness and to spread the word.  You can read more about her story HERE and sign the petition HERE.  For each signature we receive, the school administrators receive and email regarding our request.  I hope you can help me fill their in-boxes! 

To support this petition, and to spread the word, Little Miss Muffett Stamps has released a dozen new images to play with.  Plus Polka Dot Pals Rosalie is a freebie in the store for everyone to join in.  We’d love to see what you’ll create… but more importantly, we hope you can help Cassandra by signing the petition and spreading the word.

Leo Betty By Simply Betty

Hello-

I am sharing a new creation- named Leo Betty.....she was designed by a lovely artist Betty over at Simply B Stamps.  I was the winner off a challenge that was sponsored by Simply B Stamps, and this was one of the lovelies I choose.

I made a twisted easel card and added a lot of embellishments.  This is a birthday card for my husband's boss....she is sweet lady and loves purple.  I also really liked that this digital image came with a sentiment...the characteristics of a "Leo"....perfect addition.

I made something a little different this week- not sure of the official name...but it is a 6x6 fold out card.

This adorable Lacy Sunshine image is Thea Boo's Balloons- perfect for our birthday theme.

Paper Temptress was very generous and supplied the design team with a wonderful variety of paper to use on our projects.  In my project I used Vintage Patchwork, Pop tones 100# Blu Raspberrry, Pop Tones 100# Hot Fudge, Silver Lustre & Lagoon Mica/Metallic  .  These products are stunning- to touch and feel and work with.  I will be placing an order very soon for more goodies.

Since I had such a large project- I used a couple more Lacy Sunshine images from my personal stash.  The lovely girl in the pink dress is named Rory Goes To Prom and the little diva with blue hair is named Avi Starr- A lil Celebrity.
