A Faery Ink Halloween!

Happy Halloween Blogland!

I have had some fun making some fun goodie bags-

Amanda the wonderful artist of Faery Ink had an AWESOME

Halloween swap on her Facebook Fan Page- since my swap partners,

have received there goodies- I can share my projects now.

 This great image is named Gabbie Vampire... the sentiment is also

from Faery Ink.

 The bags were very simple to make- I googled and found a tutorial on Youtube.

I started with a 12x12 piece of paper and cut down to 8x11.5- then took out my

scoreboard...on the long side I scored at 3 1/2, 5 1/2, 9 and 11.  Then turned to the short side

and scored at 2 inches.  I then cut the 2 inch notches on the score lines to create the bottom- folded

and glued.  Then punched holes on top to thread ribbon- decorated and done.

 I was able to make 6 bags on one Saturday afternoon- this pumpkin and sentiment

were offered for FREE- if your a subscriber to the monthly newsletter from

Faery Ink.

 Another Halloween swap bag- using Gabbie Vampire...instead of 

using the green/ purplr colors...I used the reds/ oranges here.

I am so excited to share my new project with you.

I have joined the monthly Create and Learn classes at 

Kit and Clowder.  This month- the image was created by 

Faery Ink.

I really enjoyed learning a new technique- creating a glowing effect.  These classes

are so easy and convenient too.  You should look into them- they are a monthly subscription-

in US dollars it is about $15 a month.

Little Indie by Artbymiran

Hi There- it's my turn to host the

Artbymiran Showcase Blog

I am using Little Indie 

 I wanted to make a flat card- for mailing purposes.  S I did not add any embellishments.  I used a "busy" paper and added a sentiment.  I accented the paper with some gold vellum.

 I did an easy fold- made a standard 5x7 card- then folded a tab, that measured

1 1/2 inches- to give a little dimension.

 I colored this little cutie with my Copic markers.

Sisterly Love By Faery Ink

Hello,

It's time for a new challenge at CCC Digi Creations

Our theme is Anything Goes

I am showcasing the beautiful image
Sistery Love by Faery Ink 

I created a step card- It is made with a 6x6 piece of  paper and then just cut in certain spots- that is it and so simple to do.  Just wanted to do something a little different this time.  This image is so precious- I have 2 sisters and I am in the middle.  They both have birthday's in January and mine is in August- I always say I am the FAVORITE because I Have my own birthday month!!!  Anyway, they both have a desk at work and I thought this card would be perfect to keep on their desk, as a reminder that I love them.  So off to make another one!

Hello Crafty Buddies!

I had the pleasure of playing with this adorable image

Little Flower Fairy

 Normally with this type of image I would color her with soft,

delicate colors and accent with flowers and pearls.  But I wanted to make

a Christmas card- and it worked perfectly!

After coloring her with my Copic markers, I added some stickles.  Then used

Graphic 45 paper (Joyous line), I distressed the paper edges with my

Tim Holtz tool and some ribbon and Christmas tree charms...all done!

New Monthly Progressive at Artbymiran

Hello Friends!

Have you ever played along with our monthly progressive challenges at the 

Artbtmiran Facebook Group?

If not, look what you are missing....

 A progressive challenge works like this- you purchase your first months image....you start any month.  Then you make your project- post in our Facebook progressive album...you could be a winner- and get Free images.  Then every month after... you receive a new, free image to play with.  As long as you use the image each month, you will continue to receive them.

 I made this sweetie into a Christmas card and loved coloring her with my Copics.  I really liked this Christmas plaid- and have fun using all my Christmas ribbons and flowers.  I also just recently got the Tim Holtz distressing tool- so I had to play with it.  Its a great look- don't you think?

Lastly, I made a shaped easel card- the effect is such a beautiful statement.

Cupcake With Flower by Robyn's Fetish

Hello Crafty Friends-

I am excited to share, I am a NEW Design Team member at

Craftying With Friends Challenge Blog... It is a once a month, Anything Goes challenge.

My first project is an easel card- using the image Cupcake With Flower by Robyn's Fetish

I think the chocolate frosting looks just like the Buttercream frosting you would get at the bakery!!

My favorite is with chocolate cake too- but I did not want my colors to all blend together, so I colored the cake part as a yellow cake mix.  Also, very good!!
